British far-right activist Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) recently promoted a “patriotic” cryptocurrency token called Patriotic Bull on his X account, sharing its address and claiming fees would help the UK. However, he soon clarified the project was his son’s idea, stating, “I feel like a wanker writing these posts” after backlash from his own supporters who described it as a scam.

The token was created on the Pump Fun platform by an account presumably run by his son, Spencer Yaxley-Lennon. Spencer’s Instagram shows a lavish lifestyle of private jets, contrasting with his father’s frequent pleas for donations. This incident highlights the financial dynamics surrounding UK right-wing figures, who are often backed by wealthy tech financiers.

Robinson himself has a history of receiving crypto and cash donations, including Bitcoin-since-he-was-jailed-as-support-for-exedl-leader-rockets-online-a3901581.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>£20,000 ($26,500) in BTC while in prison. He is supported by Elon Musk and recently met Musk’s father in Russia. Meanwhile, rival party Reform UK is heavily funded by Christopher Harborne, a major Tether shareholder who has donated over $33 million.

Political financing remains controversial, with Harborne recently registering to vote in the UK, potentially bypassing a donation cap.
