The competition, organized by Gan Jing World (GJW), centered around the theme of kindness as a universal language, with participants sharing their videos using the hashtag #KindnessIsCool on the platform. GJW announced the winners on Saturday, highlighting how the initiative has demonstrated the global appeal of compassionate storytelling.

Winner announcements come ahead of a celebration planned for March 28 in New York City’s Times Square, where the winning entries will be showcased to a worldwide audience.

Gold Award Recognition

Singer-songwriter James H. White claimed the top honor with his video "Hero in Uniform: Army Sergeant Leads Hurricane Helene Relief Drive." White’s submission, which earned him a $10,000 cash prize, pays tribute to Army Sgt. Michael Sharpes, who organized a veteran-led relief effort following Hurricane Helene. Inspired by Sharpes’ actions, White composed the song "Born to Rise," celebrating community resilience during difficult times.

In a notable act of generosity, White has elected to share his prize money with two charitable organizations: Save Our Allies, which provides support to Americans and allies during crises, and Aerial Recovery, which backs veterans and first responders in disaster relief and anti-human trafficking initiatives globally.

Silver and Bronze Recognitions

The Silver Award and $1,000 prize went to Audrey for her short film "Old Shoes." Based on true events, the film tells the story of a young woman who repeatedly finds an old pair of shoes at her doorstep, initially suspecting her elderly neighbor before discovering an unexpected act of kindness. According to GJW, the film’s intimate storytelling illustrates how small gestures can significantly impact lives.

Ten Bronze Awards of $500 each were distributed to creators including mega content creator HAIR ASMR CEYHUN for "The Shocking Finale! SECOND CHANCE! SHORT FILM," which addresses homelessness, and Cast By Light’s "Be With You," a story about family reconciliation across generations.
