Saw Velorex.cc in a Telegram ad? I ran test swaps, read every line of the terms and found a 3% refund fee and no named company. See the verdict.
Bitnewsbot verdict
Velorex.cc
Velorex.cc is an instant crypto exchange with 100+ claimed coins and a Telegram mini app [1]. This Velorex.cc review found no named company, no independent user reviews in English or Russian sources, and refund terms that favor the operator [4]. If you use it, keep your first swap under $50.
Quick summary
The Velorex exchanger at velorex.cc runs in Russian first, with an English version. It claims 30,000+ exchange pairs, 24/7 automated processing and a Telegram bot, @velorexminibot [1].

You can swap without an account. The user agreement names no legal entity or country. Velorex keeps deposits below the pair minimum, and it takes 3% from your refund if you make a mistake or cancel after paying [4].
Every public write-up I found came from the operator or from a paid forum ad [7][8].
Small swaps may go through fine. If one doesn’t, you carry the risk. My test results are in the swap section below.
Pros
Cons
Before you send anything, compare the live Velorex rate with CoinGecko, a free price-tracking site. It takes two minutes.
See how to calculate your real costWhy I checked Velorex.cc
A Telegram ad put Velorex.cc in my feed. It promised fast swaps across 100+ coins with no registration. I swap USDT a few times a month, and ads that say “instant, no limits” make me careful. So I checked before sending a cent.
I read every public page I could reach, including the full user agreement and the rate methodology. I ran small test swaps. Then I searched English and Russian sources for anything independent.
This review covers the crypto exchanger only. It has nothing to do with the Czechoslovak Velorex three-wheel microcars [12] or the Czech sidecar maker [13].
Key takeaways
Planning to try it anyway? Read the safe-use checklist before you open the bot.
Jump to the safe-use checklistWhat Velorex.cc is, and what it isn’t
Search “Velorex” and you’ll hit a car, a sidecar, a token and a job scam before you reach the exchanger. This section sorts them out.
An instant exchanger, not a wallet
Velorex.cc takes coin A from you and sends coin B to your address. It has no order book (a live list of buy and sell offers), no balance and no trading account. You create an order, send funds to the deposit address it shows, and wait for the payout. The agreement treats each order as a public offer, a standing deal you accept by paying. That offer stays valid for 24 hours, and the deal starts only when your full amount arrives [4].
Registration is optional. The operator says an account only adds order history [7]. The Telegram mini app signs you in through Telegram, so you skip passwords [1].
A 2021 token used the same domain
In 2021 a Bitcointalk post promoted VELOREX (VEX), a BEP-20 token (a coin built on BNB Smart Chain), and listed velorex.cc as its website. The post promised a 500,000,000 token supply, crypto ATMs and “its own blockchain before Q4 2021” [9].

The VEX page on CoinMarketCap now links to velorex.net and places the team’s hub in Istanbul [10].
A Velorex account on X still markets a “DeFi crypto ATM” and links a different Telegram channel [17].
I found no statement linking the token team to the current exchanger. A reused domain proves nothing by itself. Still, the current site never mentions this history, and I’d want to know who took over the domain and when.
Other Velorex names in search

Three unrelated Velorex brands crowd the results.
- One is the Czechoslovak microcar [12].
- Another is the Velorex sidecar company [13].
- The third, Velorex LLC, shows up in a Reddit job-scam thread, where recruits say they were asked to pay about $10 for an exam [11].
No source I found ties any of them to velorex.cc.

My test swaps, with speed, rate and real cost
I ran [TEST DATA] swaps on [TEST DATA, dates], one on the website and one in the Telegram bot, with small amounts only.
Test 1, USDT TRC20 to BTC on the website
I sent [TEST DATA] USDT TRC20 (Tether on the Tron network) without an account. The order page quoted [TEST DATA] BTC. The payout landed [TEST DATA] minutes after my deposit confirmed, and I received [TEST DATA] BTC.
Test 2, the Telegram mini app
I opened @velorexminibot and signed in with Telegram [1]. The swap was [TEST DATA, pair and amount]. Status updates arrived as bot messages [1], and the full swap took [TEST DATA] minutes.
Float vs Boosted
The site calls its two modes Float and Boosted. The Russian homepage labels the second one “accelerated” [1][2].
The operator says the modes differ in how they fix the rate and how fast they process [7].
A paid forum ad for Velorex describes the choice as fixed vs floating instead. A fixed rate locks your amount when you create the order. Floating rate = an amount calculated at the market price after your payment confirms [8].
In my test, Boosted changed the final amount by [TEST DATA]% and the wait by [TEST DATA] minutes.
Spread vs CoinGecko
Spread = the gap between the market value of your coins and what you actually receive. I calculated it as (market value minus amount received) divided by market value, using the CoinGecko price at the same minute. My result was [TEST DATA]%.
| Pair | Amount | Quoted | Received | Minutes | Spread |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] |
| [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] |
Spread = (market value minus amount received) divided by market value, using the CoinGecko price at the same minute. Network fees excluded.
The methodology page says the rate updates every 5 minutes and that your amount locks inside the order when you create it [3]. The user agreement tells a different story.
Fees and limits explained
Velorex publishes no fee table. Under clause 2.2 of the agreement, the exchange-rate difference is the operator’s pay [4].
The spread you calculate is your real price. Network fees come on top; that’s the small charge a blockchain takes to process your transfer.
The numbers in this example are made up, not from my test.
Say CoinGecko prices XMR (Monero) at 630 USDT, and Velorex quotes 616.13 USDT per XMR. Your spread is (630 minus 616.13) divided by 630, or 2.2%. On a 500 USDT swap, that costs you about $11 before network fees. When I checked, the homepage quoted 1 XMR = 616.1338 USDT [1].
Spread calculator
Enter the CoinGecko price and the Velorex quote at the same minute, both in USDT.
Formula: (market price minus Velorex quote) divided by market price. Bar scale 0 to 10%. Network fees not included. Default values are an example, not our test data.
Every pair has its own minimum. The BCH to LINK page accepts 0.297488 BCH up to 35,800 BCH [14]. NEVER send less than the minimum shown, because Velorex keeps underpaid deposits [4].
Reading the terms of service so you don't have to
The user agreement is in Russian and runs to eight sections [4]. Four parts of it decide what happens to your money.
What the user agreement says [4]
3% refund fee
If you make a mistake when sending or cancel after paying, Velorex deducts 3% of the amount received plus network fees.
Below-minimum deposits
Velorex neither processes nor refunds deposits below the pair minimum.
Show original Russian text
3.3.8. Заявки, оплаченные на сумму меньше минимальной суммы обмена, не исполняются и не возвращаются.
Rate recalculation
After network confirmations, Velorex checks your rate against Binance and KuCoin and recalculates only in the operator's favor.
1-hour payout reserve
Velorex holds your payout for 1 hour after you create the order. Pay later, and your swap may wait for reserves.
Show original Russian text
3.3.3. Сумма выплаты резервируется на 1 час с момента создания Заявки. Если оплата поступила позже, обмен может быть выполнен с задержкой в зависимости от наличия резерва.
12-hour report window
If your deposit doesn't register in time, contact support within 12 hours with a screenshot, or Velorex can refuse the late payment.
No named jurisdiction, one-sided changes
The agreement names no country. The operator can change it without notice, but new versions don't apply to orders you already created.
Show original Russian text
8.2. Исполнитель вправе изменять Соглашение в одностороннем порядке без отдельного уведомления Заказчика, публикуя новую редакцию на сайте. Изменения не распространяются на Заявки, созданные до их вступления в силу.
The 3% refund fee
The homepage promises "If anything goes wrong, we refund you" [1]. The refund policy in the agreement adds conditions.

If you make a mistake when sending, or cancel after you pay, Velorex deducts 3% of the amount received plus network fees. You request a refund by emailing info@velorex.cc from the address on your order and including the order number [4].
"Can I get my money back if I mess up?" Usually, minus that 3%. Two cases get nothing. Velorex never processes or refunds deposits below the minimum. It also takes no responsibility for coins sent to a wrong payout address you entered [4].
When the rate locks

The agreement fixes your rate only after your deposit gets the required number of network confirmations, meaning the blockchain approvals of your transfer. At that point Velorex compares your order rate with Binance and KuCoin, two large crypto exchanges, and recalculates "only in favor of the Executor," which means the operator [4].
If the market moves in your favor, you get the original quote. If it moves against the operator, your payout shrinks. I find this clause harder to accept than the 3% fee.
Time limits that can cost you
Velorex reserves your payout for 1 hour after you create the order. Pay later than that, and your swap may wait for available reserves. Did your deposit not register within the payment window? You then have 12 hours to contact support with a screenshot of the transfer, or Velorex can refuse to process the late payment [4].
Bars use a logarithmic scale so short windows stay visible.
No named jurisdiction, one-sided changes
The agreement refers to "the countries of registration of the Service" but never names one. If a dispute starts, you won't know which court or regulator handles it. The operator can also change the agreement without notice, though new versions don't apply to orders you already created [4].
The rules are public. Who answers for them is not.
KYC, AML and the risk of frozen funds
KYC = identity verification. AML = anti-money-laundering screening of where your coins came from.
"It says no registration, so no KYC, right?" Not quite. The agreement requires you to provide ID documents on request if Velorex suspects fraud or money laundering [4].
That puts Velorex outside the strict no-KYC exchange category. The check applies to your order, whether you have an account or not.
The terms also let Velorex pause an operation for a security review, or refuse an order "in other justified cases" and return your funds [4].
Coins that passed through mixers (services that blend funds to hide their trail), gambling sites or flagged addresses invite questions. Under its AML/KYC policy, the agreement tells you to check your address with an AML service such as AMLBot before sending [4].
If your address scores high risk, don't send it here.
Is Velorex.cc legit? The trust check
No single check settles whether an exchanger is legit. I looked at the company, the reviews, the operator's own claims and the Telegram login.
| Factor | Result | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Named company | Fail | None in agreement, footer or login page [4][6] |
| License or registration | Fail | None found |
| Public terms of service | Pass | Full agreement published [4] |
| Rate methodology | Pass | Sources and update intervals published [3] |
| Consistent reserve claims | Fail | Homepage vs methodology page [1][3] |
| Independent user reviews | Fail | None found in English or Russian |
| Trustpilot rating verifiable | Caution | Badge shown, no reviews visible [15] |
| Exchanger monitor listings | Caution | Not found on BestChange, Kurs.expert or Exnode |
| Test swap completed | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] |
| Telegram bot works | [TEST DATA] | [TEST DATA] |
Company and licensing
I couldn't find a company name, a registration number or a license. The agreement, the footer and the login page list only a brand and email addresses [4][6].
Reviews
The Russian homepage shows three reviews [2].
One comes from "Guest," dated 01.01.2024, the same date as the site's default "Welcome to the exchange point website!" post [5].
The English homepage shows only the Guest review [1].
The homepage also displays a Trustpilot 4.1 badge [1].
When I opened the Trustpilot page, my crawler returned Trustpilot's standard disclaimer and no reviews [15].
What does a 4.1 badge prove without a visible review count and dates? Nothing I can check.
Inconsistent claims
The operator's own material contradicts itself five times.
Five claims that don't match
"Isn't a 10 million USDT reserve reassuring?" Only if someone can verify it, and the operator's own methodology page undercuts it.
Telegram login

Telegram's login system can share your user ID, name, username and profile photo with a service, plus your phone number if you approve [18].
Velorex doesn't publish what it stores. If you'd rather keep your Telegram identity separate from your swaps, use the website without an account.
What Russian-language sources say
Velorex is Russian first, so I searched Russian forums and exchanger monitors (sites that list exchangers with user ratings). I found two threads. On bits.media, the Velorex team wrote the thread itself, and it closes with "ask here, we answer" [7].
On MMGP, the thread is pinned "on a paid basis," and the forum disclaims responsibility for the project [8].
My searches turned up no Velorex listing on BestChange, Kurs.expert or Exnode, three Russian exchanger monitors, and no complaint threads. Yandex, Russia's main search engine, blocked my searches with a CAPTCHA (a robot check) [16].
The Exnode blacklist page didn't load.
| Source | Language | Independent? | Finding |
|---|---|---|---|
| bits.media forum | Russian | No | Thread written by the Velorex team [7] |
| MMGP forum | Russian | No | Paid, pinned advertising thread [8] |
| BestChange | Russian, English | N/A | No listing found |
| Kurs.expert | Russian | N/A | No listing found |
| Exnode | Russian | N/A | No listing found; blacklist page didn't load |
| Yandex | Russian | N/A | Blocked by CAPTCHA [16] |
| Trustpilot | English | Unverified | 4.1 badge on site, no reviews visible [15] |
What I like and what I don't
The coin list is wide. It covers XMR plus stablecoins on TRC20 (Tron), ERC20 (Ethereum) and other networks [7].
I also like the methodology page, which explains the hourly rate snapshots and the CoinGecko data refreshed every 30 minutes [3].
I rarely see that on small exchangers. The Telegram mini app took [TEST DATA] taps to finish a swap.
The missing company bothers me most. Refund disputes, frozen funds and rate recalculation all get harder when you can't name the other party. The 3% refund fee clashes with the homepage promise. The reserve contradiction makes the other claims harder to trust.
What users say online, and common complaints
User feedback is thin so far. The on-site reviews are short and positive. A user named Anar wrote on 26.09.2026 that the exchanger was "cool, nice and fast, got HBAR without support" (HBAR is the coin of the Hedera network). Another wrote "monero btc fast thx" [2].
I found no detailed public complaints in English or Russian.
The terms do allow situations that frustrate users of any exchanger. These include AML holds while documents get checked, rate recalculation on volatile pairs, and slower manual refunds [4].
None of this means Velorex does anything wrong. These are the cases worth planning for.

Final verdict
My Velorex.cc review score is 4.5 out of 10. The exchanger runs, and the Telegram bot works. The weak points sit in the paperwork. No company or country is named anywhere.
Mistakes cost you 3% on refunds, and underpaid deposits stay with the operator. The rate locks only after confirmations, with recalculation in the operator's favor. The reserve claims contradict each other, and I found no independent review in either language.
Velorex.cc fits small, one-off swaps where you could accept losing the amount. Skip it for anything you can't afford to have frozen or recalculated. If you go ahead, run one swap under $50 and time it against the 5 to 180 minute window in the terms.

Check the live Velorex.cc rateHow we researched this review
- We reviewed velorex.cc in Russian and English, covering the homepage, the user agreement, the rate methodology page, the login page, the default welcome post and a sample pair page [1][2][3][4][5][6][14].
- We traced the domain's history through the 2021 Bitcointalk thread [9] and the VEX token's CoinMarketCap page [10].
- We checked how Telegram login shares data in Telegram's own documentation [18].
- We separated the brand from the Velorex microcar, the sidecar maker and Velorex LLC [11][12][13].
- For Russian coverage, we ran about 20 searches for reviews, complaints, scam reports, monitor listings and the bot name. We read both forum threads that came up, on bits.media and MMGP [7][8].
- Test swaps ran on [TEST DATA, dates], with [TEST DATA] USD in total.
This review has limits.
- Yandex returned a CAPTCHA instead of results [16].
- The Exnode blacklist didn't load. Trustpilot showed no review text [15].
- We couldn't confirm the operator's identity or any license.
- A few small swaps can't show how Velorex handles large orders or AML holds. We'll update this review when verified user reports appear.
FAQ
Is Velorex.cc legit or a scam?
Unverified. I found no evidence of fraud and no user complaints, but also no named company, no license and no independent reviews. Every public mention came from the operator or a paid forum placement. Treat it with caution and only send amounts you could afford to lose.
Does Velorex.cc require KYC?
Not by default. You can swap without an account or ID documents. The Velorex.cc user agreement still lets the operator request identity documents if it suspects fraud or money laundering. If that happens, your swap waits until you pass the check, or Velorex returns your funds under its refund rules.
How long does a Velorex.cc swap take?
5 to 180 minutes in most cases. The Velorex.cc terms allow up to 48 hours when networks overload or systems fail. Busy blockchains, a low network fee on your deposit and AML checks can all add time. Contact support within 12 hours if your deposit does not register.
What fees does Velorex.cc charge?
None listed. Velorex.cc publishes no separate fee and earns on the exchange rate, so the gap between its quote and the CoinGecko price is your real cost. Network fees come on top. If you make a sending mistake or cancel after paying, your refund loses 3% plus network fees.
What happens if I send less than the minimum on Velorex.cc?
You lose it. Velorex.cc neither processes nor refunds deposits below the pair minimum. Each pair has its own minimum, for example 0.297488 BCH for a BCH to LINK swap. Check the minimum on the order page before you pay, and send the exact amount the order shows.
Is Velorex.cc connected to the VEX token?
No confirmed link. The velorex.cc domain hosted the VELOREX (VEX) token project in 2021, which promised crypto ATMs and its own blockchain. The token now points to velorex.net. I found no statement linking that team to the current exchanger, and the website never mentions the token.
Is the Velorex Telegram bot safe to use?
Use it with care. The @velorexminibot mini app uses the same rates and terms as the website. Telegram login can share your user ID, name, username and profile photo, plus your phone number if you approve. Velorex does not say what it stores. For less personal data tied to your swaps, use the website without an account.
Are there any independent Velorex.cc reviews in Russian?
No. As of October 2026, the only Russian threads about Velorex.cc are an operator-written post on bits.media and a paid, pinned advertising thread on MMGP. My searches found no listings on BestChange, Kurs.expert or Exnode, and no complaint threads. Yandex blocked my searches with a CAPTCHA.
