That said, the upgrade option is important. We welcome Ethereum as the network awaits the “Gray Glacier” upgrade. In the coming days, the upgrade will be introduced to the mainnet.
The Ethereum network will undergo an upgrade on block 15,050,000, which is expected to take place on June 29. Here, it is important to note that Grey Glacier will not be deployed on any test network.
Earlier, on June 23, Binance revealed that it will support “Ethereum Network Upgrade (ETH).” In view of the same, ETH and ERC-20 token deposits and withdrawals will be suspended on the platform from June 29. However, trading of these tokens will not be affected during the network upgrade.
Even so, the big concern for holders could be the social dominance metric. It is on a gradual decline after peaking at 15.34% on June 12. It’s worth noting that those who want to see Ethereum fall have been enjoying ETH’s ride of late.
Importantly, Ethereum holders need not worry or do anything ahead of the Grey Glacier upgrade. It probably won’t have an impact on their ETH allocations.
