  • Robinhood is launching a trivia game offering over $2 million in Bitcoin and Dogecoin prizes across two days of competition.
  • The first contest begins today at 4:45pm ET for all eligible U.S. customers, while a second contest will run exclusively for Robinhood Gold subscribers on Thursday.
  • Former HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky will lead the contests, where participants answering all 12 questions correctly will split the daily $1 million Bitcoin prize pool.

Robinhood is rolling out a cryptocurrency-themed trivia contest that will distribute more than $2 million in digital assets to winners over a two-day event. The trading platform’s mobile app will host the contest starting today, offering substantial Bitcoin and Dogecoin rewards to participants who successfully navigate finance and crypto-related questions.

The first round of the competition launches today at 4:45pm ET and is open to all eligible U.S. customers with a Robinhood account. Participants will face 12 multiple-choice questions covering topics in finance, economics, and cryptocurrency, with just 10 seconds to answer each question.

Users who provide correct answers to all questions will share the daily $1 million Bitcoin prize pool. In cases where no one achieves a perfect score, the prize will be divided among those who answered the most questions correctly.

Thursday’s competition will cater exclusively to subscribers of Robinhood Gold, the platform’s premium service tier. This second contest will feature another $1 million in Bitcoin prizes along with additional Dogecoin rewards for all participants. The exact amount of Dogecoin to be distributed has not been disclosed, and Robinhood did not immediately respond to requests for clarification.

Comedy veteran Scott Rogowsky, previously known for Hosting the once-popular HQ Trivia app, will lead both events. Robinhood‘s Vice President of Product Dheerja Kaur told Fortune that this trivia contest represents an experimental initiative for the company, stating: “We actually want to see how it does.”

To participate, users must access the contest through the latest version of the Robinhood mobile application, available on both iOS and Android platforms. Winners will receive notification both in-app and via email within five days after the contest concludes, and must claim their prizes within a 30-day window. All cryptocurrency rewards will be valued based on market rates at the time of transfer.

This trivia initiative comes shortly after Robinhood announced that the Securities and Exchange Commission had concluded its investigation into alleged securities violations by the company without pursuing enforcement action.

The trading platform’s stock has shown strong performance, with Robinhood Markets (HOOD) shares up 2.27% in the past 24 hours, trading at $47.27 per share—nearly double their value compared to the same period last year.

Both featured cryptocurrencies have experienced positive movement amid recent market volatility. Bitcoin and Dogecoin have each gained approximately 2.5% in the last 24 hours, trading at $90,078 and $0.204 respectively.
