Nvidia stock to surge as Yotta orders 40,000 Vera Rubin GPUs

Nvidia's Vera Rubin GPU shipments set to boost stock as Yotta deploys 40,000 units.

  • NVIDIA will begin shipping Vera Rubin GPUs this fall, with Indian data center firm Yotta Services among the first to deploy 40,000 units at its Noida facility.
  • Yotta CEO Sunil Gupta confirmed plans for a $12 billion expansion and an additional 40,000 GB300 chips for a new Navi Mumbai data center.
  • NVDA stock opened Friday at $218 and trades sideways, but analysts anticipate a rally as global data center orders begin shipping.

Nvidia stock (NASDAQ: NVDA) is poised for a major boost as data centers worldwide prepare to deploy the much-anticipated Vera Rubin GPU, with shipments beginning this fall. Indian data center firm Yotta Services will be among the first to deploy the Vera Rubin GB300 after procuring 40,000 GPUs for its Noida facility.

That plant boasts 120 megawatts of power and will see a $12 billion expansion. Yotta CEO Sunil Gupta confirmed to MoneyControl that the company also plans to expand data centers to Navi Mumbai.

The Navi Mumbai data center will order another 40,000 Vera Rubin GPUs to become operational. “We are fitting out our next data centre in Mumbai, NM2, which is an 80-megawatt data centre. We are planning to put around 40,000 NVIDIA GB300 chips in it,” Gupta said.

“We are also starting construction of our D4 data centre in the Greater Noida campus that will be a 120 MW data centre. That building will have 40,000 Vera Rubin chips,” he added. Consequently, Nvidia would see a surge in sales and usage, making its stock prospects brighter.

NVDA opened Friday’s trading session at $218 and is mostly trading sideways on the charts. However, the leading equity could kick-start a major rally when orders begin to ship out to clients.

Meanwhile, the entire AI sector could see robust and faster results, benefiting the industry as a whole. Nvidia stands at the top of the AI chain, with data centers depending on its products for better performance.
