- Cryptocurrency influencer Tiffany Fong had a falling out with Elon Musk after he allegedly asked her to have his child and she declined.
- Fong reportedly lost followers and income after Musk unfollowed her when he learned she had discussed his proposal with friends.
- Musk has fathered 13 children with three different women, including disputed claims from Ashley St. Clair about having his child.
Cryptocurrency influencer Tiffany Fong experienced a meteoric rise in popularity last year when Tesla CEO Elon Musk began following her on Twitter. According to reports, her earnings soared to $21,000 on the platform by November 2024, along with a significant increase in her follower count.
The Wall Street Journal reports that during this period, Musk allegedly messaged Fong and asked if she was interested in having his child. Fong declined the proposal, reportedly because “she pictured having children in a more traditional nuclear family,” despite the two never having met in person.
The Fallout Between Fong and Musk
According to sources cited in the report, the relationship deteriorated after Fong confided in friends about Musk’s proposal, including Ashley St. Clair, who herself claims to have given birth to one of Musk’s children. Fong reportedly expressed concerns to St. Clair that “turning him down could hurt her earnings.”
When Musk discovered that Fong had shared details of his request with others, he reportedly “chided” her for lacking discretion and subsequently unfollowed her. This action led to a decline in her online followers and, consequently, her earnings.
Musk’s Children and Their Mothers
The tech billionaire has fathered thirteen children with three different women. His first wife, Canadian author Justine Musk, gave birth to their first child in 2002, who tragically died of sudden infant death syndrome at ten weeks. The couple later had twins and triplets through IVF before divorcing in 2008.
With Canadian musician Grimes, Musk has three children: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl (nicknamed “Y”), and Techno Mechanicus (nicknamed “Tau”). Musk also has three children with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his company Neuralink, including twins born in 2021 and a third child born in early 2024.
In February this year, Ashley St. Clair claimed that Musk fathered her child. Musk has denied these claims but stated, “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
