Indian gaming powerhouse SuperGaming is expanding its blockchain presence through a strategic partnership with gaming ecosystem B3, marking a significant move in the Web3 gaming sector. The collaboration aims to create a dedicated gamechain serving India’s growing gaming market while leveraging SuperGaming’s existing player base of over 200 million users.
The partnership builds on B3’s layer-3 gaming network, which operates on Coinbase’s Base network – an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution. Since its inception, B3 has demonstrated remarkable growth, processing more than 200 million transactions and integrating over 6 million digital wallets.
“B3’s technology makes it easy for us to bring our games onto the blockchain, giving us the amazing opportunity to serve our Web2 and Web3 players via our launched games like TCME,” stated Roby John, SuperGaming’s CEO.
SuperGaming’s portfolio includes popular titles like MaskGun and Indus. Their previous blockchain venture, Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition on Polygon, is slated for a revival under this new ecosystem. This move aligns with B3’s broader strategy of partnering with established studios to create specialized gamechains.
The ecosystem expansion includes other notable partnerships: Godchain for mobile gaming development and Primechain from Parallel Studios for PC gaming. Parallel Studios is also introducing Project Tau Ceti, a first-person shooter game, to the B3 ecosystem.
Through its gaming portal BSMNT.fun, B3 offers users access to games across multiple blockchain networks with a single login, simplifying the Web3 gaming experience for its 140,000 daily active players.
