- Hedera Council adds WISeKey as a Strategic Partner, strengthening Cybersecurity and digital identity capabilities on its network.
- SpaceDev becomes the eighth Community Partner, expanding Hedera’s reach in Latin America through blockchain education and development.
- The partnerships build on existing collaborations, including SEALCOIN’s post-quantum security platform and SpaceDev’s carbon-capture blockchain solution.
Hedera Council announced the expansion of its partner network with the addition of cybersecurity firm WISeKey as a Strategic Partner and Latin American software company SpaceDev as a Community Partner, according to an official blog post. WISeKey, a global expert in digital identity and IoT solutions, becomes the Council’s fourth Strategic Partner.
Consequently, the partnership builds on an existing use case where the Hashgraph Group launched the QAIT Q-Day Security Assessment Platform on the SEALCOIN Quantum Marketplace, designed to help enterprises mitigate quantum computing risks. “By combining WISeKey’s expertise in digital identity, cybersecurity, PQC-secure semiconductors and space-based IoT with Hedera’s enterprise-grade distributed Ledger technology, we can accelerate the deployment of trusted digital ecosystems,” said Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO of WISeKey.
Meanwhile, SpaceDev, ranked No. 2 among Clutch’s top blockchain companies, joins as the Council’s eighth Community Partner after previously leveraging Hedera for its Blockchain for Energy platform that turns carbon-capture initiatives into auditable on-chain assets. Juan Manuel Sobral, CTO and co-founder of SpaceDev, stated: “Joining the Hedera Council Community Partner Program feels like a natural milestone in a story SpaceDev has been writing for years.”
