Kick Sauber has the highest number of crypto sponsors this year: CoinPayments, Stake, Libertex, and LBX. Other notable partnerships include major crypto exchanges backing teams such as Binance with Alpine, Kraken with Williams, Coinbase with Aston Martin, and OKX with McLaren.

Officially, Crypto.com is the season’s main sponsor for Formula 1. The company signed a deal in 2021 valued at over $100 million for five years. This agreement has since been extended through 2030, ensuring Crypto.com remains a key partner. More details about this can be found in this CNBC report and the Formula 1 announcement.

This season, some of the sport’s top teams, such as Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari, did not feature any crypto sponsors on their cars. However, Ferrari has signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with crypto exchange BingX, set to begin in 2026. More information is available in the official Ferrari announcement.

Sponsorship branding on Formula 1 cars, also known as “sponsorship liveries,” dates back to the late 1960s. Prior to that, F1 cars were painted only with their national racing colors. The first commercial sponsorship displayed on a car was the Gold, orange, and brown livery of the Gunston cigarette brand.
