- US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $137 million on Wednesday, extending their three-day inflow streak to roughly $424 million.
- October’s cumulative net Bitcoin ETF flows turned positive at $111 million after nearly $774 million exited the prior week.
- The Federal Reserve held rates at 3.75%–4%, with Chair Kevin Warsh warning inflation remains above the 2% target.
- Ether ETFs continued their slump, shedding another $21 million on Wednesday, bringing October outflows to $1.35 billion.
Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds posted a third consecutive day of inflows on Wednesday, pulling in $137 million and pushing October’s net flows back into positive territory at $111 million, according to SoSoValue data.
The rebound followed a rough end to the previous week, when nearly $774 million exited over the final two trading days. The inflows coincided with the US Federal Reserve’s decision Wednesday to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at a target range of 3.75% to 4%.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh warned that inflation remained above the central bank’s 2% target, offering little new directional guidance. “With limited new direction from the Fed, Bitcoin’s near-term performance may depend more heavily on Treasury yields, dollar movements and broader risk sentiment,” said Bitget analyst Lewis Huang.
Bitcoin traded at $79,848 at the time of writing, down roughly 1% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The market’s fear and greed gauge held at 51, or “Neutral,” for a second consecutive day, data from Alternative.me shows.
Meanwhile, Ether (ETH) ETFs saw another $21 million in outflows Wednesday, bringing October’s net withdrawals to $1.35 billion, according to SoSoValue. Ether traded at $2,310, down 1.7% over the past 24 hours.
