BitBoy Crypto Influencer Arrested After Sending Emails to Judge

Former BitBoy Ben Armstrong Denied Bail After Second Arrest for Contacting Judge

  • Former BitBoy Ben Armstrong arrested again after contacting judge presiding over his defamation case.
  • Armstrong denied bail following emails sent to Judge Kimberly Childs, whom he publicly criticized as “corrupt.”
  • This marks his second arrest since being dropped from the BitBoy brand in 2023 amid allegations of substance abuse and causing damage.

Crypto personality Ben Armstrong, formerly known as BitBoy, has been taken into custody for the second time after sending multiple emails to Judge Kimberly Childs, whom he has publicly labeled as “corrupt” and a “future convicted felon.” Armstrong was denied bail following his arrest, which came after he violated judicial contact protocols.

Armstrong announced on X (formerly Twitter) last Friday that authorities had issued an arrest warrant against him after he contacted Judge Childs, who is currently overseeing a defamation lawsuit filed against him. While the specific content of the emails remains undisclosed, Armstrong simultaneously published several posts criticizing the judge and alleging she was “holding my children hostage.”

The legal troubles for Armstrong stem from a lawsuit filed on September 28, 2023, by Hit Network and its parent company BJ Investment Holdings. The complaint specifically accuses Armstrong of libel and slander, serious allegations that could have significant implications for the controversial crypto influencer.

This isn’t Armstrong’s first encounter with law enforcement. In September 2023, he was arrested after livestreaming himself driving to the home of an individual who had possession of the Hit Network company Lamborghini that had been taken from him. Following that incident, Armstrong faced charges of “loitering/prowling” and “simple assault by placing another in fear.” He was released after approximately eight hours in custody on a $2,600 bond.

Armstrong’s relationship with the BitBoy brand ended in August 2023 when BJ Investment Holdings removed him from the platform amid allegations concerning substance abuse issues and claims he had caused “emotional, physical, and financial damage” to the organization.

According to official records, Armstrong has been denied bail following this most recent arrest, suggesting the court views his communications with Judge Childs as a serious violation of judicial protocols. His mugshot has been made public through official channels, confirming his detention status.
