According to a recent statement from Elon Musk, the latest version presents a “major” upgrade compared to earlier iterations. xAI noted that Grok 4.1 preserves the strong reasoning abilities of Grok 4 while enhancing the model’s emotional awareness, creativity, and smoothness in conversation.
