Nvidia’s Huang: Software Stocks Ready to Pop

NVIDIA CEO predicts AI agents will bolster, not replace, major software firms; stock targets surge.

  • NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang contends Wall Street misunderstands software companies, believing they will benefit from agentic AI.
  • Huang argues AI agents will enhance, not replace, existing enterprise platforms like ServiceNow by becoming experts in their domains.
  • Following a strong earnings report, major firms including Citigroup, BofA, and Sanford C. Bernstein have revised their NVIDIA stock targets upward.
  • NVDA stock is trading near its 52-week high, with analysts raising numbers in a direct signal of fundamental support.

During a recent address, NVIDIA (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang declared software stocks are poised for growth, asserting Wall Street currently holds the wrong perspective. He emphasized that agentic Artificial Intelligence will act through, rather than replace, current enterprise software ecosystems.

Specifically, Huang stated, “It’s very likely these [software] companies… are going to introduce agents that run on their platforms.” He illustrated this with ServiceNow, suggesting its AI agent for customer service would be finely tuned using its own specialized tools. Consequently, he framed agents as specialized tools that augment and automate tasks within existing frameworks.

Meanwhile, a wave of NVIDIA stock target revisions followed the company’s latest earnings beat. Firms like Citigroup, BofA, and Sanford C. Bernstein adjusted their outlooks, according to reports, sending investors to reassess potential price movement. This activity caused analysts to raise their numerical forecasts for NVDA.

NVDA is currently trading near the top of its 52-week range and above its 200-day moving average. At press time, the stock appeared ready to return to roughly $200, potentially climbing higher if the tech rally persists. However, some macro headwinds have introduced caution, reflected in recent market volatility where stocks pulled back after major news.

Despite this tension, the revised targets from major firms tell a compelling story. Analysts continue to back NVIDIA‘s fundamentals by raising their numbers, which serves as a direct signal they believe the valuation case remains solid.
