Nexo, the digital assets wealth platform, has secured a landmark three-year partnership with the DP World Tour that positions the company as the tour’s first-ever Official Digital Wealth Platform through 2027. The agreement represents the first multi-year partnership between a digital assets company and a major global golf tour, according to official announcements from both organizations.

Title Partnership and Tournament Sponsorship

The partnership includes title sponsorship of the newly renamed Nexo Championship, previously known as the Scottish Championship. The tournament takes place August 7-10, 2025, at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The event serves as the penultimate tournament in the Closing Swing, which forms the fifth and final Global Swing of the DP World Tour’s 2025 season.

Nexo also becomes an Official Partner to six premier DP World Tour tournaments in 2025.

These include the Genesis Scottish Open, where top-ranked players Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will compete, the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, the BMW PGA Championship, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

Strategic Branding and Client Experiences

The partnership includes strategic branding opportunities on and off the course at each tournament. Nexo will host tailored hospitality and client experiences aligned with its services for high-net-worth individuals, according to the company’s announcement.

DP World Tour Overview

The DP World Tour serves as the main men’s professional golf tour of the European Tour group. The tour’s 2025 Global Schedule features 42 tournaments across 26 countries, structured in three phases: five Global Swings, the Back 9, and the DP World Tour Play-Offs.

The tour includes five Rolex Series events and four Major Championships, all contributing to the Race to Dubai Rankings, the tour’s season-long competition that concludes at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. DP World, the global supply chain and logistics provider, has served as title partner since the start of the 2022 season.
