Musk attacks the creator of dogecoin: “My 12-year-old children would have written better code”

Jackson Palmer is not the first person to be targeted by Musk – In recent months, the Tesla CEO has been at odds on Twitter with the head of Russia’s space agency as well as the Biden administration

Jackson Palmer, the creator of Dogecoin, found himself in Elon Musk’s crosshairs shortly after he described the richest man in the world… “a crook”.

In particular, Palmer, during an interview with the Australian news website Cricke, revealed that several years ago, he had sent a message to Musk via Twitter, because he had created a bot that would help detect encryption fraud on Twitter.

During their conversation, it became apparent to Palmer that Musk “didn’t understand much about coding”.

“He sells a vision in the hope that he might one day do what he promised, but in reality he doesn’t have the necessary knowledge.” Palmer was quoted as saying by BusinessInsider.

“He’s very good at pretending to be knowledgeable. This is clear with Tesla’s promise of fully autonomous driving.” adds.

Shortly afterwards, Musk was quick to comment on Palmer’s statements on Twitter. In particular, in a post on his personal account on his favourite platform, he wrote: “My 12-year-old children would have written better code than what Palmer sent me at the time.”

“I never said it was extremely complicated, but this simple script certainly worked to catch and report the less sophisticated phishing accounts of 2018”, replied the founder of Dogecoin.

Palmer, who left Dogecoin in 2015 citing a “toxic” culture, noted that indeed, this code would not be as effective today, as the tactics of scammers have become increasingly sophisticated.

However, Palmer is not the first person to be targeted by Musk. In recent months, the CEO of Tesla has argued on Twitter with the head of Russia’s space agency as well as the Biden administration.
