Radix announced the launch of Hyperlane on its mainnet, making cross-chain asset transfers possible in a permissionless and open manner. The integration enables users to move digital assets such as USDC, USDT, wBTC, and ETH to and from major networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Binance Smart Chain.
At launch, users have access to two main interfaces to interact with Hyperlane warp routes. This upgrade provides the Radix community with direct access to cross-chain liquidity and establishes a multi-chain workflow for decentralized finance (DeFi) users and developers.
The official statement from Radix notes that Hyperlane’s design is open source and modular, allowing anyone to deploy new routes, audit code, and adjust security measures. The launch aims to reduce complexities in bridging assets by allowing familiar tokens to move easily into the Radix ecosystem. “Liqudity providers can seed stablecoin and blue chip pools with capital that comes in from day one. Traders can bring over the balances they already hold rather than waiting for new listings or bespoke wrappers,” the statement explained.
Hyperlane supports assets and blockchains that DeFi participants already use, making onboarding more direct for new projects and users. Radix plans to add more warp routes in the coming weeks, with support for tokens like SOL on the roadmap. Additional updates, guides, and tools will be provided as new connections are enabled.
Alongside the launch, Radix stated that Hyperlane will activate the start of the Radix Rewards Season 1, which will distribute 1 billion XRD points in an airdrop commencing at 00:00 UTC on September 8, 2025. Users are encouraged to enroll for the program at https://incentives.radixdlt.com and review the details at https://www.radixdlt.com/blog/radix-rewards-early-registration-now-open.
The rollout marks one of the most significant milestones for Radix since its Babylon update, according to the company. Expanded cross-chain functions are expected to improve user experience, streamline onboarding, and support new decentralized applications built within the Radix network.
