Blockchain gaming project Illuvium announced a collaboration with Casio’s G-Shock to release NFT trading cards, expanding its digital collectibles offering. The limited-edition collection will integrate into the Illuvium Beyond card collection platform.

Collection Details

The G-Shock partnership introduces six character cards called Illuvitars, featuring reimagined designs incorporating G-Shock aesthetic elements. Each character, including the Aapon mystic monkey, displays G-Shock-inspired armor and accessories.

The collection includes:

  • Three unique backgrounds per character
  • Holographic and non-holographic variants
  • Total of 108 possible card combinations
  • Price point of $35 per D1SK NFT

Physical and Digital Integration

Collectors who purchase 20 or more D1SKs during the December 9-22 sale period will receive an exclusive physical Illuvium G-Shock watch, bridging digital and physical collectibles.

Ecosystem Growth

Illuvium Beyond, launched in 2023, represents the fourth title in the franchise’s portfolio. The platform has previously collaborated with GameStop and Team Liquid for exclusive card releases.

The project’s core gaming suite, built on Ethereum scaling network Immutable X, includes three interconnected titles:

  • Illuvium: Overworld – Open-world survival
  • Illuvium: Arena – Strategic auto-battler
  • Illuvium: Zero – City-building simulation

According to the project’s official roadmap, development began in Q4 2020 following initial fundraising. The games are currently available through the Epic Games Store for PC and Mac users.
