Bitmine Immersion Technologies has amassed over six million Ethereum tokens worth approximately $16.2 billion, representing 4.9% of the circulating supply and positioning the company within striking distance of its “Alchemy of 5%” target. The company purchased 17,362 ETH last week for nearly $47 million at roughly $2,698 per token, according to the company’s announcement.
Bitmine has added Ethereum every week since June 30, 2025, a streak CEO Tom Lee describes as “unmatched by any public company in the world.” The firm has staked 5,067,309 ETH — 84% of its holdings — primarily through its institutional staking platform MAVAN. At a 7-day annualized yield of 2.62%, Bitmine projects current staking revenue of $358 million per year, rising to $424 million if fully deployed. “Bitmine has staked more ETH than other entities in the world,” Lee said.
Total holdings reach $17.2 billion when including 213 BTC, $672 million in cash and marketable securities, and equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco. Lee argues that ETH has outperformed the S&P 500 by roughly 67 percentage points since the end of June. He reads the market as turning, stating a crypto bull market began in late June. “In our view, institutions are still underweight crypto and we expect them to be adding to their exposure in the final months of 2026,” he added.
Bitmine is now the largest Ethereum treasury and the second largest corporate crypto treasury overall, trailing only Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy, which holds 847,666 BTC worth roughly $71 billion. Its backers include ARK’s Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, Pantera, Kraken, Galaxy Digital, and Bill Miller III.
