Bitdeer Technologies announced on Wednesday that its Artificial Intelligence division, Bitdeer AI, has signed a five-year customer agreement covering roughly half the capacity of its forthcoming A102 facility in Malaysia before the site’s energization. The deal with an undisclosed client of “high credit quality” is projected to bring in about $400 million in total revenue.
Revenue and associated costs are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2027, when services are set to begin for the client. Concurrently, Bitdeer AI is targeting 350 megawatts of AI cloud data center capacity by the first quarter of 2028, as detailed in the company’s announcement.
