- Ethereum ETFs extended a five-day outflow streak to about $431 million, while Solana ETFs lost about $72 million over the week.
- Myriad traders now give Ethereum a 51.3% chance of falling to $1,500 before reaching $3,000.
The first real test of how ETF investors would react to the largest crypto hack in history came back red. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $643.2 million on Friday, their biggest single-day outflow of October, in the first full session after attackers drained roughly $6.4 billion from Binance.
The selling erased a four-day, $441 million inflow run, leaving the funds down roughly $202 million for the week. Ethereum funds lost $155.7 million on Friday, extending a five-day outflow streak to about $431 million.
Solana ETFs shed $10.8 million, their fifth straight day of outflows. Crypto markets initially appeared to take the hack in stride, with Bitcoin falling about 4%, though the drop was smaller than the 11% plunge after a 2018 attack.
By Saturday, Bitcoin had steadied at about $77,520. Traders on Myriad have turned bearish, giving Ethereum a 51.3% chance of falling to $1,500 before reaching $3,000.
Macro headwinds remain in play as the Federal Reserve held rates steady, but traders priced odds above 70% for an increase in December. Cumulative net inflows for Bitcoin funds since their debut remain at $57.4 billion.
