XRDegen Launches Advanced NFT Marketplace on Radix Blockchain

XRDegen Launches on Radix: New NFT Marketplace and Launchpad with Rewards, Minting Tools, and Creator Royalties

  • The Radix Grants Program supported the launch of XRDegen, a new NFT marketplace and launchpad.
  • XRDegen allows users to trade NFTs from any Radix collection, submit offers, and negotiate trades.
  • The platform offers minting tools, collection verification, and royalty enforcement for creators.
  • XRDegen features a rewards system to encourage ongoing community participation.
  • The project is led by Ken DeFreitas and Aaron Guyett, both established in the Radix community.

XRDegen, an NFT marketplace and launchpad, has launched on the Radix network with the support of the Radix Grants Program. The platform aims to make NFT trading simple and accessible, providing a space for users to buy, sell, and explore digital assets. XRDegen offers tools for both collectors and creators to participate in the Radix NFT ecosystem.

The marketplace enables universal access to all Radix NFT collections. Users can trade, submit offers on unlisted items, and negotiate directly. Minting features include random assignment of asset IDs and progressive minting, which reduces upfront costs for creators by minting assets at purchase. According to cofounder Ken DeFreitas, "If I could tell everyone one thing about the marketplace, it would be this: Check your profile daily! There’s a good chance you have offers waiting there for you."

Collection verification is free and straightforward. XRDegen has implemented a royalty system that allows founders to collect earnings from secondary sales, supporting ongoing creator revenue. The system uses an Owner’s Badge to enable collection claims and royalty setup.

A rewards feature also encourages participation. Users can earn points for activities such as buying, selling, and daily check-ins. While the specific use of points has not been announced, Ken DeFreitas stated, "The easiest way to earn is just by checking in daily, but there’s a lot of other ways as well. I can’t disclose what the points will be used for yet, but it’s pretty exciting stuff."

XRDegen is developed by Ken DeFreitas, host of the Radix Review podcast, and Aaron Guyett, a blockchain developer. As explained by Guyett, "XRDegen isn’t just a marketplace or launchpad, it’s an amazing onboarding tool. If you’ve used Magic Eden or OpenSea, you’ll instantly know how to use our platform."

More information about XRDegen can be found on the project’s website, official X account, or Telegram channel.
