We are pleased to announce that Xangle, a prominent blockchain research company in Korea, is joining the network as the latest Enterprise Validator Node. Xangle has staked 200k Theta to a community investor node located here:
Established in 2018, Xangle operates Korea’s leading Web3 infra service provider and research platform, offering community hubs, blockchain explorers, and industry reports. Recently, Xangle has expanded its role within the Web3 space, actively participating as a validator for major global blockchain projects such as Aptos, Babylon, 0G, Initia and more.
“We’re excited to form this strategic partnership with Theta to become an enterprise validator joining other great names like Google, Samsung and CAA. Staking to Theta’s validator network aligns perfectly with our mission to drive trust, decentralization and transparency in layer 1 blockchains,” said Lihan Lee, Co-CEO of Xangle. “Looking forward to supporting Theta’s continued growth in decentralized AI and Depin.”
By participating in the validator ecosystem, Xangle will support Theta’s security, decentralization, and governance, while simultaneously accelerating adoption of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) and AI ecosystem growth. Xangle will further support and provide advice for increased adoption, marketing and customer acquisition in the South Korea market. THETA and TFUEL are both listed on the top 2 Korean exchanges Upbit and Bithumb.
“We’d like to welcome Xangle to the Theta ecosystem,” said Mitch Liu, co-founder and CEO of THETA Network. “Xangle’s extensive expertise in blockchain analytics, ecosystem development, and go-to-market experience in South Korea makes them an ideal partner to help drive adoption of THETA and TFUEL. We also benefit from a trusted, institutional-grade governance partner to further help secure and scale Theta blockchain.”
