Theta Network continued to expand its reach in June 2025 by rolling out several major projects and partnerships. The organization recorded advancements in sports, media, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and decentralized computing, according to the latest company update.

EdgeCloud, a core part of the Theta ecosystem, released EdgeCloud Hybrid. This new service allows individuals and companies to share or rent out their unused graphics processing unit (GPU) power in a decentralized marketplace, targeting both the consumer and enterprise sectors. The launch aims to boost resource efficiency and lower barriers for accessing high-performance computing.

Professional sports teams have also adopted Theta’s solutions. The Houston Rockets announced the official launch of ClutchBot, an AI-powered mascot built on EdgeCloud technology. Meanwhile, Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union revealed plans to create a fan engagement app leveraging Theta’s blockchain platform.

In the crypto trading space, Crypto.com now supports THETA and TFUEL trading for users in the United States. This move is supported by a new marketing and trading campaign designed to increase awareness among their user base.

Esports organizations such as Gen.G and Sheep Esports debuted AI bots on EdgeCloud, highlighting Theta’s growing presence in competitive gaming. Additional partnerships include Theta joining the Aethir AI Unbundled Web3 x AI Alliance, and AlphaCrypto introducing trading analysis tools powered by EdgeCloud.

EdgeCloud also expanded its technological offerings by adding support for DeepSeek R1 LLM, a language learning model designed for AI applications.

Looking ahead, the annual Theta hackathon known as BlockJam will be held as part of ThetaEuroCon in Berlin this September, inviting developers and community members to showcase innovations.
