LA Vape Cabal Crypto Influencers Harassed in LA Street Altercation

Crypto Influencers Threadguy and Rasmr Confronted by Pro-Palestine Activist in Los Angeles Amid LIBRA Token Controversy

  • Crypto influencers Threadguy and Rasmr were confronted on a Los Angeles street by a pro-Palestine activist.
  • The activist, Ramsey Aburdene of Palestine News Network, called them insulting names and questioned their celebrity status.
  • Palestine News Network has faced criticism for provocative tactics and filming confrontational street interviews.
  • The LA Vape Cabal, including both influencers, recently faced scrutiny over their involvement with the LIBRA token.
  • The Anti-Defamation League has raised concerns about the group’s interactions in areas with large Jewish populations.

Crypto personalities Threadguy and Rasmr were approached and insulted by Ramsey Aburdene, a known pro-Palestine social media influencer and founder of the Palestine News Network, as they walked on the streets of Los Angeles. The incident, which was recorded and later shared on social media, involved Aburdene engaging the two influencers in a heated exchange.

During the confrontation, Aburdene made remarks questioning the pair’s fame and used derogatory language. He was quoted saying, “They think they’re celebrities” and, addressing Rasmr directly, “Are you a famous person who never made it, bro? You walk like a ‘fruitcake,’ a ‘chump,’ and a ‘weirdo.’” The video was highlighted in a viral post.

Palestine News Network has drawn attention on social platforms for its confrontational style. The group often uploads video recordings of arguments and reactions from people on the street, especially confrontations with those supporting Israel or expressing annoyance at their tactics. The Anti-Defamation League has described PNN’s approach as deliberately provocative, claiming its members seek out neighborhoods with large Jewish communities to begin discussions about Palestine.

Both Threadguy and Rasmr are members of the LA Vape Cabal, a group of cryptocurrency influencers active in Los Angeles. The group has recently faced criticism related to the LIBRA token, a cryptocurrency project launched by Argentina’s president. Reports suggest that the venture resulted in significant losses for thousands of investors.

Amid these events, Threadguy reduced his social media activity after users accused him of insider trading regarding the LIBRA token. Although they may not be widely recognized outside of crypto circles, members of the LA Vape Cabal have developed a reputation as micro-celebrities among digital asset enthusiasts.

Palestine News Network often ends its interviews by delivering the phrase, “beautiful people say beautiful things,” whenever individuals express specific political views. The group maintains a presence on platforms like TikTok, where it regularly posts content from street interviews.
