The Hello Future Hackathon 2.0 has concluded with developers from around the world competing for a $300,000 prize pool. The competition, which ran from November 11th to December 18th, 2024, showcased innovative blockchain projects built on the Hedera network across categories including AI integration, tokenized assets, and sustainability applications.
Ecosphere Prime claimed the top prize with their decentralized climate intelligence platform. The project leverages IoT sensors as climate nodes that collect environmental data, which is then validated and stored on Hedera’s distributed Ledger. This innovation addresses the growing need for accurate, accessible climate information through Web3 technology.
The second-place winner, Hashgraph Online, developed an open-source standard with a LaunchPage builder and smart contracts that define new capabilities for NFTs unique to the Hedera ecosystem. Meanwhile, HealthToken.AI secured third place with their healthcare data management platform that incorporates consent mechanisms and tokenization to incentivize participation.
In the AI-Driven Insights category, ACOER Team’s BioPharma Tracker took first place with their solution designed to enhance traceability in pharmaceutical supply chains. The Tokenized Assets division saw Hedera for Robotics win with their B2B middleware service connecting industrial automation to blockchain functionality.
Hashgraph Online doubled their success by also claiming the top spot in the DeFi & AMMs category. For Decentralized Identity applications, Decentralized Minds won with Medera, a healthcare platform streamlining clinic-pharmacy-patient interactions through self-sovereign identity principles.
The Sustainable Finance track, predictably, was dominated by overall winner Ecosphere Prime. In the advanced developers’ Hashgraph Trailblazers category, Hashgraph Online again prevailed, demonstrating their technical expertise across multiple applications.
Returning competitors showcased their continued innovation in the Hashgraph Legends division, where HashPress Pioneers took first place with WordPress plugins designed to make blockchain more accessible to everyday users.
The competition also recognized ten beginner teams in the Hashgraph Explorers category, including The Terrific Tokenizer, DeVault, and Fusion Innovators, highlighting the ecosystem’s commitment to fostering new talent.
A virtual Closing Celebration is scheduled for February 14th, where attendees can hear insights from the winning teams and receive updates about upcoming industry events including HederaCon and ETH Denver.
