Hedera has announced the winners of its Scaffold HBAR Template Bounty, awarding five teams $2,000 in HBAR each for creating open-source templates that leverage the network’s native scheduling capabilities. The bounty aimed to produce educational starting points for developers, and the templates remain unaudited, testnet-only tools not suitable for immediate mainnet deployment.
SpaceDev won with Hedera Governed Operations, a template that enables council-approved actions using Hedera’s native multisig via threshold keys. Jagadeesh’s SaucerSwap Limit Orders introduces price-triggered token swaps using an on-chain vault and the Schedule Service, eliminating the need for off-chain keepers.
Victor Jayeoba developed Custos, a template for scheduled liquidation checks in leveraged trading, employing dual-oracle guards from ChainLink and Supra to reject stale or divergent price data. RetailBox created Recurring Buy, which automates time-triggered token purchases on SaucerSwap without a bot or server, complete with a front-end management interface.
Manish Shivabhakti contributed Predera, a prediction market template that uses the Schedule Service for settlement and reads price feeds from Chainlink with Pyth as a fallback. YES/NO positions are represented as HTS tokens tradeable on SaucerSwap before settlement.
Developers can explore these templates and build their own using the official Scaffold HBAR documentation. Each template can be initialized via the npm create scaffold-hbar command, as outlined in the individual repositories.
