ChatGPT Go is available for under $5 per month, while the Plus plan remains at $20 monthly. This launch follows the product’s earlier introduction in India and Indonesia, with company data showing that India’s paid user base doubled after rollout.

A recent developer conference in San Francisco revealed that ChatGPT has reached 800 million weekly active users. OpenAI also announced new integrations with third-party apps at this event.

The latest subscription tier is now accessible in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam. Users on the Go plan receive elevated daily limits for messaging, enhanced image-generation capability, and twice the memory of the free version, supporting more personalized interactions.

The company first launched ChatGPT Go in India in August and later in Indonesia. According to official statements, “the number of paid subscribers in India doubled since the launch.” The move is part of OpenAI’s ongoing strategy to grow its user base in emerging markets.
