Bitget to Exit Japan, Close Remaining Positions After Dec 31

Bitget announced Monday that it will stop providing services to residents of Japan, beginning with a halt to new registrations. The exchange stated that account restrictions will take effect on November 1 for existing users.

Consequently, any positions still open on December 31 will be forcibly closed. Meanwhile, users who believe they have been incorrectly classified as Japanese residents must complete Level 2 identification, including address verification, by November 1 to avoid restrictions.
