  • Analysts predict PEPE could reach $0.000017 and BONK $0.000027 by July 2025 if momentum continues.
  • The altcoin index is at 53, showing strong activity in the market.

Binance has changed the status of PEPE and BONK by removing the seed tag from both tokens, effective July 21, 2025. This upgrade moves them into a more established category on the world’s largest crypto exchange, reflecting a shift in how Binance views their stability and investment potential.

The seed tag removed by Binance typically marks assets as early-stage and highly volatile. In an official statement, the exchange specified that seven tokens, including PENGU, Eigen, ETHFI, BONK, and PEPE, would lose this label. According to “Tokens with the Seed Tag represent new, innovative projects that may exhibit higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens.”

The exchange noted that seed tag removal occurs after careful review of project growth and security, aiming to maintain safety and trust for investors. The move also aligns with a period of strong trading activity. The altcoin index currently stands at 53, which is described as the highest point in recent times.

Predictions from Changelly estimate that PEPE could average $0.0000117 in July 2025, with potential lows and highs between $0.00000958 and $0.0000138. Meanwhile, Changelly forecasts BONK could reach an average price of $0.000027, with possible lows of $0.000022 and highs at $0.000027 for the same period.

This development comes as altcoins show signs of renewed momentum, which could influence market trends by the end of July. Seed tags have served as risk alerts for crypto investors, and their removal commonly signals rising confidence in token stability and project sustainability.
