Cathie Wood-led Ark Invest made a series of portfolio adjustments on Friday, trimming several technology and growth names while adding to a handful of biotechnology holdings. The trades spanned ARK’s actively managed ETFs, with some positions appearing across more than one fund.
In the ARK Innovation ETF, the firm sold 15,302 shares of Palantir Technologies and 17,740 shares of Shopify. It also reduced holdings in Alphabet by 65,812 shares and Cloudflare by 9,215 shares, mirroring sales from the prior week.
The ARK Next Generation Technology ETF sold shares of Palantir, CrowdStrike Holdings, Circle Internet Group, Roblox, Rubrik, Block, and Everpure. This included 42,499 shares of Circle and 34,222 shares of Roblox.
Meanwhile, buying concentrated in the ARK Genomic Revolution ETF, where Ark added positions across a group of biotechnology companies rather than a single stock. ARKG purchased 68,266 shares of Pacific Biosciences of California, 22,479 shares of Scribe Therapeutics, and 169,498 shares of Freenome, according to reports on Google News.
Pacific Biosciences was also added to the ARK Innovation ETF, making it the only stock bought across two funds. ARKG’s price closed up by nearly 1% Friday and rose nearly 0.2% during after-hours trade, while retail sentiment on Stocktwits remained neutral.
