- US Homeland agents reportedly purchased and tested a secret, portable microwave weapon from Russian criminal networks.
- The device can allegedly cause Havana Syndrome symptoms like head pain and nausea without producing heat.
- Cryptocurrency figure Bob Lax previously described eerily similar symptoms from an Amazon microwave in 2025.
- Doctor David Relmond states Russian scientists have been perfecting such microwave pulse technology for decades.
Undercover agents from the US Department of Homeland Security purchased a miniaturized microwave weapon from Russian criminal networks and have been testing it for a year, according to 60 Minutes. The weapon is concealable, emits rapid pulses, and reportedly causes symptoms akin to Havana Syndrome, similar to claims made by a cryptocurrency influencer last year.
In March 2025, crypto personality Bob Lax, whose real name is Zachery Stuart, left a strange one-star review for an Amazon microwave. He described a weapon causing a “hum” in his skull and a “pulse pulse pulse” sensation, which crypto circles found compelling. X users now compare his account to the recent report, with some suggesting he was correct and should be freed from jail.
Previously, high-level US officials suffered from blurred vision and head pain attributed to Havana Syndrome, which 60 Minutes reported in 2024. The cause is theorized to be directed energy weapons, which Doctor David Relmond calls an ideal stealth weapon for attacking the brain from outside. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump recently referenced another device, a “discombobulator,” though he claimed he was not allowed to discuss it.
