Trump Org Disavows Ties to ‘$TRUMP Wallet’ Crypto Project

  • Trump Organization denies any connection to the “$TRUMP Wallet” crypto project.
  • The crypto wallet uses branding related to the U.S. president but has no official documentation or launch timeline.
  • Magic Eden confirmed its involvement in the project, which is linked to GetTrumpMemes.com.
  • Both Donald Trump Jr. and Barron Trump have denied any family or organizational involvement with the wallet.
  • Previously, the Trump brand has been involved in other crypto ventures, including stablecoins and meme tokens.

A representative for the Trump Organization said the group has no knowledge of a cryptocurrency project called the “$TRUMP Wallet.” The app has been branded with references to the U.S. president, but neither the organization nor the Trump family supports or has partnered with this product.

According to the project’s website, the “$TRUMP Wallet” would allow users to store and trade digital assets. The site currently lacks technical details and a clear launch date but offers a waitlist for users interested in early access. Magic Eden, a well-known crypto marketplace, has confirmed the wallet project through a post by CEO Jack Lu on X (formerly Twitter).

Despite the branding, spokespersons from the Trump Organization and Trump’s children have publicly denied any involvement. “The Trump Organization knows nothing about this project”, the spokesperson told CoinDesk. Donald Trump Jr. also stated in an X post that the group has “zero involvement with this wallet product”, also mentioning that a separate initiative (World Liberty) will soon launch their own wallet. Barron Trump further denied any partnership via social media.

The website for the project links Magic Eden to GetTrumpMemes.com, the team behind a Trump-themed meme token. The “$TRUMP Wallet” is not the first time Trump-related branding has been seen in cryptocurrency. Past efforts have included World Liberty Financial, a stablecoin project, and tokens like Trump Coin and Melania Coin, both issued before the president’s 2025 inauguration.

No further details about the wallet’s launch date or features were provided. The article was updated with additional denial statements from Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump.
