Sonic has launched an integration with Kaito, a Web3 information dashboard, enabling users to earn points toward the S airdrop by sharing insights and research about Sonic. This new feature is tracked through the Sonic Yapper Leaderboard, recognizing community contributions on social platforms.
As part of this update, users gain rewards not only for decentralized finance (DeFi) activity but also for generating and spreading discussion about Sonic. According to officials, season 2 of the S airdrop allows participants to earn Yap points for quality posts starting from June 18, 2025.
Kaito’s Yapper Leaderboards play a key role in surveying and incentivizing users who mention Sonic in their posts. The leaderboard monitors tweets that highlight the platform’s features such as fee monetization, innovative technology, expanding apps, and its overall DeFi ecosystem.
“We’re excited to have Sonic integrating with Kaito to create their own Yapper Leaderboard. It’s a clear signal of the value they place on community and recognition of the people driving their vision forward. They join other well-established Web3 projects in rewarding their top social contributors in a way that wasn’t previously possible,” said Yu Hu, Founder and CEO of Kaito.
“With Kaito Yaps, we’re giving real weight to the people pushing Sonic forward on social media through insights, research, and quality content that drives awareness. If you’re shaping the narrative, it’s only fair that you should share in the upside,” added Michael Kong, CEO of Sonic Labs.
Community members are encouraged to share educational and inspiring content, as this can directly affect their airdrop rewards. However, posting intentionally misleading or harmful content might result in a reduction of airdrop allocation. This approach aims to support positive contributions and ensure that rewards are distributed to those actively building Sonic’s presence online.
