Sonic Labs Debuts AI-Powered Web3 App Builder Spawn

Sonic Labs' Spawn AI builds full-stack Web3 dApps from natural language prompts, no coding needed.

  • Sonic Labs unveiled Spawn, a first-of-its-kind AI platform for building full-stack Web3 applications from natural language prompts.
  • The platform automatically generates smart contracts, deploys them to the Sonic blockchain, and builds a complete frontend, eliminating the need for coding expertise.
  • A preview launched at ETHDenver 2026, where a live demo created a fully playable on-chain game from a single prompt.
  • Spawn aims to democratize dApp creation, solving the complex, multi-domain expertise traditionally required for Web3 development.

Sonic Labs has unveiled an AI agent that allows anyone to build complete Web3 applications from a single natural language prompt. The team previewed the platform, named Spawn, at ETHDenver 2026 for a live audience and shared details on its official site.

This development directly addresses the significant technical barrier hindering Web3’s growth. However, the vibecoding revolution has successfully democratized traditional app development with no-code tools. Consequently, the complexity of smart contracts and blockchain deployment has left decentralized applications largely inaccessible to non-developers.

Spawn changes that dynamic by acting as an end-to-end AI-powered builder. Users simply describe a desired dApp, such as a token-wagering game or an NFT collection. The platform then handles contract generation, compilation, deployment, and frontend creation with wallet integration.

Iteration is managed conversationally through Spawny, the built-in AI agent. Meanwhile, all applications deploy to the high-performance Sonic blockchain, which is engineered for speed and low costs. This makes it ideal for the interactive dApps Spawn generates, from games to DeFi protocols.

The demonstration at ETHDenver involved building a playable Snake game with an on-chain leaderboard from one prompt. Attendees could visit the live game site to compete for exclusive merchandise.

A closed beta for Spawn will begin following the ETHDenver preview. Those interested can sign up for updates at the project’s dedicated webpage for whitelist access.
