Jaishankar formally launched the presidency in January, unveiling a logo featuring a lotus with petals in all member colors. The theme, “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability,” reflects a people-centric approach inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India plans to host the 18th BRICS summit in New Delhi around August or September 2025. This consequential chairmanship follows the bloc’s significant expansion to 11 full members and ten partners.
