Bonk Arena has launched as the first official game for the Solana-based meme coin, according to the project’s developer, Bravo Ready. Players can access this fast-paced, top-down arcade shooter through web browsers or the Phantom wallet app on mobile. The team is also planning to bring the title to the upcoming PSG1 handheld device.
The game introduces a “pay-to-spawn, win-to-earn” model. Players must spend 10,000 BONK tokens—valued at just over $0.15 at the time of launch—to enter the game and can inherit the stakes from eliminated players. Half of the revenue generated will support BONK token burning, player rewards, and donations to charity, while the other half will fund READY token buybacks.
Bonk was created after the FTX collapse, aiming to unite the Solana community. Since then, the project has continued to grow and regularly expands its ecosystem with new initiatives and products.
On June 12, FIFA Rivals will debut on iOS and Android as a blockchain-powered mobile soccer game. The title comes after a long-term licensing partnership with Adidas and will feature digital kits, jerseys, and other limited-edition branded items tied to Adidas’ soccer legacy.
Built on the Polkadot-powered Mythos blockchain by Mythical Games, FIFA Rivals mixes FIFA branding with casual team-building modes. Players can compete in real-time matches and trade digital player cards as NFTs on the Mythical Marketplace. Additional game highlights include digital equipment drops, gear releases based on player performances, special match balls, and facilities that allow upgrades of player trading cards. FIFA also announced a separate plan for its FIFA Collect platform on the Avalanche blockchain.
In other gaming news, Flappy Bird teased an updated Web3 version with competitive play and on-chain rewards, plus an intellectual property integration, according to the developer’s recent announcement.
