Bitcoin has made a significant bullish move, reclaiming the $74,000 price tier in March 2026 for the first time since early February. This breakthrough follows several unsuccessful attempts to breach the $72,000-$74,000 range over the preceding month.
According to CoinGecko’s data, BTC’s price rose 3.7% over 24 hours and 10.2% over the last week. Consequently, this resurgence has triggered a broader market-wide rally across the cryptocurrency sector. However, the asset remains down 12.2% since its recent peak in March 2025.
The rally is attributed to a perceived cooling of Middle East conflicts, which may have boosted investor appetite for risk. Consequently, most top crypto assets are now trading in positive territory on daily and weekly charts. However, the situation remains volatile with US-Iran tensions still high.
The $74,000 level is now a critical technical resistance zone for the asset. A rejection here could potentially pull the price back toward the $62,000-$64,000 support region. Meanwhile, continued market inflows might push BTC toward the $80,000 psychological milestone.
CoinCodex analysts are quite bullish, forecasting Bitcoin to hit $81,982 by March 25, 2026. The platform does not expect BTC to sustain that level, predicting a correction back to $74,000 by May 10, 2026.
