- The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and developer platform Matterhorn announced a partnership on Friday to build tools that reduce risks from AI-generated blockchain code.
- Their new platform combines automated analysis, human security audits, and testing tools to review smart contracts before they are deployed on a live blockchain.
- The initiative, which runs on the ASI:Chain network, aims to onboard 20,000 developers in 2026.
On Friday, the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and developer platform Matterhorn unveiled a partnership to combat security flaws in AI-written smart contract code. This collaboration directly addresses the dangers of “vibe coding,” where AI instantly generates full code from a plain language description. Consequently, it seeks to provide a trusted environment for builders working with real financial applications.
“We think that’s the wrong race. The builders who build dApps that handle real money and real users need a platform they can trust, and this partnership is how we build it,” the company stated. The system integrates third-party security audit services alongside AI agentic audits directly into the Matterhorn platform. However, Matterhorn founder Abhinav Ramesh told Decrypt they “absolutely don’t recommend doing just that for mainnet applications.”
The platform is designed for the ASI:Chain network, giving developers a single environment to build, audit, and deploy. Simultaneously, the teams are creating “blessed templates” to simplify building safer contracts. Meanwhile, they are integrating ASI:Cloud to supply computing power for the AI systems that generate and analyze code.
This initiative emerges as AI agents increasingly handle on-chain financial tasks, creating new risks. Khellar Crawford of SingularityNET told Decrypt their approach uses a “correct-by-construction” architecture. “Before a single line of code ever touches the live network, the math itself guarantees that there will be no deadlocks, no race-condition exploits, and no leaked funds,” he explained.
