Aave’s founder and Aave Labs CEO, Stani Kulechov, has indicated that the matter has been extensively discussed, encouraging token holders to participate in the vote. However, the timing during the Christmas week has drawn criticism from prominent community delegates, including Marc Zeller of Aave Chan Initiative, who labeled the vote scheduling a “hostile takeover attempt” by Aave Labs and announced an abstain vote.
